Addressing Impacts of Trauma and Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) on Health Center Staff

Health Partners on IPV + Exploitation will join the ACU STAR² Center for a 60 min session in their three-part webinar series, Supporting A Diverse Workforce: Working with Health Center Staff that Exist at the Intersection of Different Identities.

Our session, Addressing Impacts of Trauma and Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) on Health Staff will explore the impacts of trauma and IPV on health center staff and highlight the importance of trauma-informed, survivor centered policies and practices to foster a workplace that can better support staff.

Oral Health and Intimate Partner Violence: Strategies for Providing Safe and Comfortable Patient Experiences

Survivors of intimate partner violence (IPV) and human trafficking (HT) often face barriers to oral health care, with dental visits sometimes acting as triggers.

This webinar, hosted by the National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA) and Health Partners on IPV+Exploitation, will address these barriers, share strategies for safer, more supportive patient experiences, and highlight the role of community partnerships in enhancing care for IPV/HT survivors. Attendees will earn 1.0 CDE.
